Native Landscaping

Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Volunteers are needed to help maintain the native landscaping around the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center and on the green roof.

Lanphere Dunes Guided Walk

Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Join a Friends of the Dunes naturalist for a guided tour of the Lanphere Dunes Unit of the Humboldt Bay Wildlife Refuge.

Ocean Day Volunteer Training

Monday, June 6, 2016 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Volunteers are needed to for the 12th Annual Kid's Ocean Day on Wednesday, June 8! Friends of the Dunes and the Bureau of Land Management will be bringing 1,000 grade schools students to the coast for a day of taking a stand in the sand.
